Brightlingsea Bowls Club The page for Brightlingsea Bowls Club. Welcome to the Brightlingsea Bowls Club page. We have members of all ages and abilities.

We are open and active all year round, with lawn bowls on our 6 rink green during the summer, and various indoor activities throughout the winter months. We have a very competitive team who compete in various leagues against other teams within the Tendring District. We also have a great social side too, so there really is something for everyone. We even incentivise younger bowlers to join with a r

educed 'Junior Membership' to encourage the next generation to continue this great sport. If you would like any further information please don't hesitate in contacting us.

The good news has finally arrived and the green will be open tomorrow, Wednesday 30th April, at 12 o'clock.

Also the sheets are up on the fixtures board for the forthcoming Windsor games. At this moment in time there is a lack of names so it will be very much appreciated that if you are going to play, that is men and women, please put your name on the list. That would be very much appreciated by the selectors. This also goes for the 3 friendlies that have been arranged.

Just an added note...We are looking for an Executive Member to join the Committee.

A big THANK YOU to Sally & Rob Day & Chris Dewey for a great evening at the Bowls Club.
We were all treated to a great roast beef dinner followed by apple pie & custard.
Chris had organised a True or False quiz, which some tables showed their knowledge 🤔 whilst others showed.....
The evening was completed with a raffle.

Presentation Evening 2023

We had a fantastic Brightlingsea Presentation evening for Season 2023.

This years venue was changed to the Brightlingsea Regent FC grounds. Our members enjoyed the great venue with full Bar services and a quality two course meal. Thanks to Andy and all the staff from Brightlingsea Regent FC for a First Class service.

The evening was well supported with over 60 guests in attendance. Our very own Mark Woodger was in fantastic voice and was assisted by Lesley Hough and Cris Dewey while presenting the trophies on behalf of the competition committee. Marks Daughter Ella provided voluntary Photography services to ensure we captured many of the evenings moments.

Thanks also to Phil Turner our outgoing Club Captain who organised a very relaxing and enjoyable evening.

We thank everyone for attending and providing their support. We hope everyone had a great time and we look forward to doing it all again next year.
