We are looking for teams of 8 to take part in this year’s Brightlingsea Regatta Tug of War on Saturday 18 July at 12pm on the Hard.

It could be your club, pub, workplace, sports team, family, friendship group or just 8 brave people who fancy getting muddy for glory.

Mixed teams are very welcome and there will be prizes for the winners.

The event is sponsored by The Waterfront Gym and Wellness Centre, so now all we need are the teams.

🌊 Regatta Stalls: Over Half Gone ⛵

Stall bookings for Brightlingsea Regatta on Saturday 18th July are now over 60% full, with spaces continuing to go each week.

If you’ve been meaning to book but haven’t got round to it yet, now is a good time to secure your spot.

With everything focused into one busy day this year, we’re expecting strong footfall and a great atmosphere across the stall areas with lots more entertainment on offer on and off the water.

We’re looking for a mix of local businesses, craft stalls, retailers and community organisations to make it a really varied and interesting marketplace.

👉 A small number of free spaces are still available for local charities and voluntary groups

Stall bookings for this year’s Brightlingsea Regatta on Saturday 18 July 2026 are now open… and already over 50% sold.

If you’ve been thinking about taking a stall, now’s the time to get booked in.

This year’s event is focused into one busy, action packed day, bringing together sailing, water based activities and live entertainment on and off the water, with a strong, engaged crowd throughout.

It’s a great opportunity to showcase your business, products or organisation.

We’re especially keen to support local, so Brightlingsea based stallholders receive 50% off their stall fee.

🌊 Brightlingsea Regatta 2026: Stall Bookings Now Open 🌊

We’re excited to confirm that stall bookings are now open for this year’s Brightlingsea Regatta on Saturday 18th July 2026.

After listening to feedback, we’re focusing everything into one day to maximise footfall, atmosphere and trading opportunity.

If you’re a:

• Local business
• Craft maker
• Charity or community group
• Maritime or coastal brand

…this is your opportunity to be part of one of Brightlingsea’s biggest and most vibrant events of the year.

With sailing, water events, live entertainment and thousands of visitors across the day, the Regatta is a brilliant chance to showcase what you do to a highly engaged local audience.

We’re also expanding our layout within the Sailing Club car park area this year to help drive even stronger footfall around the stalls.

🎉 It’s Regatta Day 2!

See you on the waterfront for the final day of Brightlingsea Regatta 2025!

Make sure to visit the stalls which are on Waterside but also there are some lovely stalls in the Brightlingsea Sailing Club car park including Happy Days Creations, The Peony Boutique Essex Wildlife Trust, the ice cream van and the traditional and very awesome plate smashing stall.
