A big thankyou to vicky & her girls for coming over saturday , we hope you got some valuable minutes in ready for the upcoming season.
Today we set the girls different challenges.
✅️Could we retain the ball better .
✅️Could we give 2 & 3 options for the player on the ball
✅️Also we cut the long & direct ball out , making sure we keept the ball in the floor and played out each time

Really impressed with the girls , there working hard & listening well , and putting everything into there game .
Really starting to get to know each other and form some great partnerships all over the field .

Lacey’s commitment, work ethic and determination continue to make her a valuable part of the squad, and we’re excited to see her build on her performances throughout the new campaign.

She has been an integral goalkeeper over the years, alongside helping out the club

We’re delighted to announce that Katie-Mae Jefferson has committed her future at Brighouse Town AFC for the upcoming season which will mark 12 years at the club 👏⚽

Katie-Mae’s dedication over the years, hard work, and quality on the pitch make her a valuable part of the squad. Not only that but Katie-Mae will be coaching the U9 lions for this upcoming season.

As one of our key strikers, we can’t wait to see what she achieves this season. 🧡

Brighouse town 3 - 4 Barnsley ladies

Second game of the day and the girls started a lil slow and got caught out to go 1 behind from not clearing there lines , and then dropped 2 nil down from a good team goal from Barnsley, but that sparked the girls into life , and we got treated to a great game off football , the girls started linking up better and moving the ball faster , and got 1 back from some great work from poppy on the right and a tight angled finish from ava for us to go into half time at 2-1 .
A lil tweek at half time to pack the midfield a little more to stop Barnsley getting on the ball so much seemed to work and saw us get more joy going forward with a front 3 .
Happy to see us attack the corner from Kayla-mai and poppy getting her goal with a great volley and 1st time finish.
Thought Marley and remi again were fantastic together ,
And ava set a great arrgresive press .
Some fast feet in the box from poppy again saw a cheeky lil cut back pass to myla who calmly chipped into the back off the net .
A entertaining game against a very good footballing side in Barnsley. Well done girls 💪

Very positive today myla , involved in everything , defending in our own box , battling in midfield and pushing the team forward . Such a pleasure to watch when shes on form , really pulled the strings today , great performance 👏
