The new season of the Brighouse snooker league starts weds 16th and Thurs 17th sept.
Here are the fixture lists and updated handicaps. We hope to have the new website fully operational by then, but in case not all your club reps have copies available also.

For the first time ever as a league we have a full quota of sponsors for the forthcoming season!
Keep a look out for more about all the sponsors in the next few weeks, but for now we'd like to say a huge thank you for your support.

Huge news!!!🏆🤯👀

On Weds 26th August at around 630pm Craig Butler of Rastrick Constitutional Top Club played a few practice frames with the promising 12 year old up and coming player Alex Slingsby.
Approximately 10 minutes later a little piece of magic had occurred!!
Craig had compiled the perfect 147 break, what a break, what an achievement and I'm sure great to see at first hand for Alex too.
Congratulations to Craig on what we are told is his 5th ever max, I'm sure more are to follow for this sensational player.

Well done Andrew Owen , another one of our SNOOKER players taking home the winners prize in a pool competition.
Don't worry though, all you purists out there the snooker season is fast approaching, we're not going to let pool be the Salieri to snookers Mozart.

All team league entries were submitted on Monday.
The league will be formatted as follows:
13 teams in A section
12 teams in B section
13 teams in C section
12 teams in D section
We did lose 2 teams compared to last season, but they have been replaced by an extra team from Halifax Snooker Club and a brand new club joining the league in Siddal Cricket Club.
The website updates are ongoing, but on target to be finished before the season starts, one of the new features will be scorecard submissions via your club rep on the website.

Big congratulations to 2 of the leagues players, on winning pool competitions this weekend.🎱🏆
Luke Drennan winning the ultimate pool disability Premier comp in Bolton, and Simon Hill for winning the roxy pool comp in Sowerby Bridge.
Hopefully the prize money will soften the shame they must be feeling from playing such a rubbish game😅😉.
