Our ladies return to the EC Surfacing Stadium this afternoon for the first time in over 2 months.

Their attention turns away from the title race they’re currently in to the Challenge Cup.

⚫️⚪️ 𝘽𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙜 𝙏𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙇𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙍𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙉𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙮 ✍🏼

Brigg Town Ladies are delighted to announce the retention of Jess Neary for the 2023/24 season.

Jess says, ‘It was a no brainer for me to sign up to Brigg for a second season. As a brand new and fairly young team, we had a lot to prove last year and we spent a lot of time laying the foundations for what I believe will be a great 23/24 campaign. Aims for this season are to build on what we’ve already created, strengthen together and position ourselves at the top of the league.’

John Coulson and Arron Chapman have secured their team for the 23/24 campaign.

John said, “Brilliant that Jess wanted to commit to the Zebras for another season. Jess is an excellent motivator for the team and another great voice in the changing rooms. Not scared of a challenge Jess will give 100% in every game.”

Brigg Town Ladies are delighted to announce the retention of captain Sam Deakin for the 2023/24 season.

Sam says, ‘I signed for my second season with brigg as we started from bare bones last season a mixed team of girls coming up into ladies and some ladies who’ve never played competitively before so alot of hard times but also some amazing achievements throughout the season so I can see the potential this team can have through the coming season and am proud to be apart of it.’

John Coulson and Arron Chapman have secured their team for the 23/24 campaign.

Manager John Coulson said, “Really pleased to have our captain Sam back on board for another season. Sam has years of experience under her belt which really helps in the teams development. A great leader from the back and leading us forward.”

And they’ve completed it!

Well done to Sam and Charlotte who have completed their challenge over the last 24 hours.

Unfortunately, due to weather they had to turn back on Scafell Pike but they completed Ben Nevis and Snowdon.
