Match day for Brigg Town Colts U9s this weekend.

On Saturday 14th March, the team are away to Hibaldstow Juniors FC with a 10:00am kick-off. The lads have been putting the work in at training and are looking forward to another good game.

If you’re around, come along and support the team from the sidelines. Your encouragement always helps the players.

Yesterday the lads were flag bearers for the Scunthorpe United FC game!

They did Brigg Town Football Club proud, their behaviour was impeccable and they really enjoyed the experience!

It wasn’t quite the scoreline we hoped for, but it was still a great team day out and one they’ll remember. ⚽

As the second half of the season gets underway, it’s a good moment to pause and say thank you.

Most people see an hour of football on a Saturday morning ⚽️
What they don’t always see is what goes on behind the scenes;

⚪️ Cones out nice and early.
⚫️ Nets fixed.
⚪️ Kit washed
⚫️ Messages sent and chased.
⚪️ Refs organised
⚫️ Pitch checked and ready.

Grassroots football doesn’t just happen.
It’s made possible by parents and volunteers who give up their time so the kids can play, learn and enjoy the game.

Thank you to everyone who helps out — without you, there really is no game.

🤩 First league game and an absolute thriller!

We played some excellent football and thoroughly deserved our lead at half-time. In the second half, when we found ourselves behind, we showed exactly the character and resilience we’ve been asking for — heads up, sleeves rolled up, and fighting back together.

That’s the standard. That’s the attitude.
A great way to kick off the new season. 💪⚽
