The Ensians kicked off pre season with an away win at New Holland last night! After a slow start we found ourselves 1-0 down at half time due to a mistake at the back.

The second half started with another goal for New Holland by former Ensian George Wells. After the second we kicked into gear with a quick fire reply from Jason Whitehand chasing a long ball cutting inside and finishing (even if he was offside).

We were then level thanks to some great pressing from the team which meant Joe Hulse cut out a pass in the final third and finished past the keeper closing in.

The third came from a long free kick which Ben Lingard took down with his first touch and found the corner with his second.

The last 10 minutes Ensians defended well to see out the win, some great performances and good to get minutes in the legs. Many thanks to New Holland Villa FC for the game and best of luck with the rest of the season

Been a long season, worth it for the last few weeks🙌🏼 to a man the squad have shown up and delivered something none of us expected this season, the clubs first ever treble.

A huge thanks goes to everyone for their support, whether it’s sponsorship, helping out when we’re short on numbers or even popping down to Scawby for an afternoon to support the lads, it really does mean a lot to the club!

We will have coverage of presentation night in a few weeks (once we get round to organising one👀), but a brilliant season and one we’re all proud of!

This is just the start for this squad, bring on Division one next season.

MATCHDAY EVE!

Back in action for 1 final time tomorrow afternoon at the Fortress, Scawby Playing Fields.

Get down to support the lads if you can, be great to get a good number down before the celebrations begin.

Be good to see as many current and former Ensians players down there as we receive our first league title for quite some time and all 3 of our trophies will be presented to commemorate the clubs historic treble.

2pm kick off @ Scawby.

3 goals for Ben Lingard, 1 for James Jackson and 1 for Jake Law sees the Ensians win their first ever TREBLE. What a season from the lads, each and every one of them deserve that.
