Do you need supplements?
Short answer, no.
Long answer, yes, if you are not getting what you need from your daily food intake.
I forgot to mention in the video that fish oil is a very good supplement. Its amazing for the joints, lipids, heart, and even the brain. You can get this through eating a good serving of fatty fish. The amount you may require may be more than you can consume, in which case fish oil supplements are of great use to you. Hope this helped!

Lets talk about creatine. a very commonly used supplement, creatine has been shown to enhance muscle strength and power. This means that during your workouts, you'll be able to lift heavier weights and push harder for longer periods of time. Not only does this result in increased muscle growth, but it also improves overall athletic performance.

Creatine plays a crucial role in providing energy to muscle cells during high-intensity exercise. It is involved in the production of ATP, which is the primary source of energy for muscle contractions.

When we consume creatine as a supplement, it increases the creatine content in our muscles, allowing them to produce more ATP. This can lead to improved performance and increased strength during short-duration, high-intensity activities.

In addition, taking creatine can lead to faster muscle recovery. After intense workouts, our muscles need time to repair and rebuild. Creatine helps to accelerate this process, allowing you to bounce back quicker and get back to the gym sooner. It's also worth noting that creatine has been shown to improve brain function and cognitive performance. So not only will your body benefit from taking creatine, but your mind will too.

So what creatine do we take? We only need to take creatine monohydrate. there are multiple forms of creatine but they actually show no increased benefits compared to monohydrate and they cost more too! so don't waste your time with the gimmicks and just stick to plain old creatine monohydrate.

how do I take creatine? and how much do I take?
You can put your creatine in water or you can mix it into fruit juice, squash, or my personal favourite coffee. when in coffee it is completely disguised if the taste and texture is of concern to you.
theres 2 different ways to take it. The first is the loading phase and a maintenance phase approach, where you take 25g a day for 1 week and then just take 5g a day onwards. Or you can just take 5g a day . Creatine builds up in your body so the loading phase saturates the muscle cells mush faster than just taking 5g a day. both ways will get you the same end result though.

Intermittent fasting: What is it? Should I use it?
I need to upload more content. New year resolution maybe? So here we are. Please bear with me..

If you train hard I don't recommend doing full day fasts. Your body needs nutrients and needs fuel. If you train hard it will impact that. Yes some can get away with training hard fasted (I am one) but a whole day without calories and the next day when you train you will feel like garbage!
