Hard luck to our Under-15s, who narrowly lost by just one run last night. A tough result, but a brilliant effort from everyone involved.

🏏 JUST 9 WEEKS TO GO! 🏏

The countdown is on for Ashish Kundi 970 Ball Batting Challenge, taking place on Friday 14th August 2026 at Bridlington Cricket Club.

In an incredible test of physical and mental endurance, Ashish will attempt to face 970 deliveries in a single session - a challenge that will push him to his limits, all in support of two fantastic causes.

💜 YouWeCan - helping people affected by cancer through awareness, support and empowerment.

🏏 Bridlington Cricket Club - supporting the continued development of cricket and opportunities within our local community.

Every ball faced will be a step closer to making a difference, and we’d love the whole cricket community to get behind this remarkable effort.

🏏 Junior Softball Festival at Bridlington Cricket Club 🏏

What a fantastic day at Bridlington Cricket Club on Sunday as we welcomed clubs from across the region for our Junior Softball Festival.

20 teams took part throughout the day, with over 120 young cricketers enjoying a fantastic day of cricket. It was great to see teams from Beverley, Cottingham, North Ferriby, Goole, Driffield, Hull Zingari, Brandsburton and Bridlington all coming together to celebrate junior cricket.

Bridlington CC was represented by two boys’ teams and one girls’ team.

A huge thank you goes to everyone who helped make the day such a success. Casey Rudd and Tim Atkin did a fantastic job looking after the boys’ teams, while Greg Miller and Robyn Chapman took charge of the girls’ team. Inside the clubhouse, Vicki and Andy Leeson, Sam Edmundson and Diane were flat out throughout the day ensuring players, families and visitors were looked after.

A special mention to Elliot Traves for organising the festival and bringing everything together.

As always, a massive thank you to our groundsman, Barry Rudd, who was down at the club from 7:30am marking out pitches and preparing the ground. The amount of work Barry puts in behind the scenes is enormous and can easily go unnoticed. Everyone at Bridlington Cricket Club appreciates the outstanding ground we are fortunate to play on, and Barry is a huge part of making that possible. 👏

Most importantly, well done to every child who took part. Days like these are what junior cricket is all about – giving young people the opportunity to play, learn, make friends and enjoy the game in a fun and welcoming environment.

Thank you to all the players, coaches, volunteers, parents and supporters who made it such a memorable day! 🏏

We hope you had a great morning, he will be sharing many more photos as soon as he can, please do let him know though if there is a photo you would rather not be on social media and he will take it down as soon as possible, likewise if you would maybe like a printed copy as well.
