🌟 Gym Reopening Update 🌟

🌡️As temperatures are forecast to drop significantly tomorrow, we are pleased to confirm that the gym will be reopening for lessons as normal from 10:00am.

💦To help keep everyone comfortable and safe, we will be putting additional measures in place throughout the day. This will include extra water breaks during lessons to ensure all participants stay well hydrated.

❄️We would appreciate your support by providing your child with a refillable water bottle. You are also welcome to send them with other suitable cooling items, such as ice packs or frozen flannels, provided they are safe and appropriate for use within the gym environment.

💜Thank you for your cooperation. We look forward to welcoming everyone back and seeing our gymnasts enjoy their lessons!

💧 Stay hydrated, stay cool, and have fun!

☀️ COMPETITION THIS WEEKEND ☀️

With the extreme temperatures this week, we’ve made the decision to cancel training on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

While this isn’t ideal so close to competition, we want to reassure all of our gymnasts and parents that they will be absolutely fine.

At Quayside, we don’t prepare athletes for one training session or even one week of training. We prepare them through months and years of consistent hard work. The skills, routines, habits and confidence they will take into competition have already been built through countless hours in the gym.

Sport isn’t always about perfect preparation. Sometimes athletes have to deal with setbacks, changes of plan and unexpected challenges. Learning to adapt and perform anyway is part of becoming a strong and resilient competitor.

In fact, a short reduction in training can often be beneficial. Rest allows the body to recover, energy levels to recharge and athletes to arrive at competition feeling fresh, motivated and ready to perform.

Our coaching team will be with the gymnasts throughout the weekend, helping them manage their warm-ups, stay focused on what they can control and giving them every opportunity to perform at their personal best.

As always, our focus remains:

💙 Excellent basics.
❤️ Excellent ex*****on.
💙 Excellent habits.

For now, enjoy the break, spend time with family and friends, stay cool, stay hydrated and look after yourselves.

We look forward to seeing everyone refreshed, energised and ready to go this weekend.

💙❤️ Stronger together – Personal best always ❤️💙

We are so proud to wish Quayside’s very own Emma Mason the very best of luck as she travels to Arosa, Switzerland with the GBR team for the 2026 Nissen Cup.

What an incredible achievement to be representing Great Britain at such a prestigious international trampoline competition. The Nissen Cup brings together some of the world’s best and we couldn’t be prouder to see Emma part of Team GBR.

Emma, we hope you have the most amazing experience. Enjoy every moment and know that everyone at Quayside is cheering you on from home!

Good luck Emma and good luck Team GBR!

While we’re having a bit of fun for the England match tonight, we do need to remind everyone that the gym is currently closed due to the red weather warning for extreme heat.

This decision has been made for everyone’s safety, as we simply can’t keep the gym cool enough in these temperatures.

Thank you so much for your understanding. Please keep an eye on our socials and your emails for further updates.

In the meantime… enjoy the football, stay cool, drink plenty of water, and come on England! 🏴⚽

After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to close the gym due to the extreme temperatures from 3:00 PM today until Thursday 25th June 9pm

The safety, wellbeing and comfort of our members, families and staff must always come first. Despite our best efforts, we are unable to keep the gym at a safe and comfortable temperature for activities to continue.

We know this may cause disappointment and inconvenience, and we are truly sorry. Thank you for your understanding and support as we put the safety of our Quayside community first.

Please keep an eye on our socials for the latest information regarding reopening and future sessions.

Stay cool, stay safe, keep hydrated, and we hope to see you all back in the gym very soon.
