Can everyone using the Track please put your rubbish in the bins. If they are full can you please take it home. I am now regularly picking up a couple bags or rubbish when I come over.

Quantock Quick Riders will be holding a trial closed session on the track, using a generator and lighting, on Wednesday, 20 November, starting at 6pm. This is to decide whether the activity is practical and convenient.

It's been a while!

The time has come to report to Hinkley Point CIM fund on the success or otherwise of the Parkersfield for Kids project. In fact, the report is well overdue.

Any comments you have would be very welcome, especially if they can help to address the questions the funders want answers to, which are mainly:

Have you started using the Field more since the improvements?.

What are your thoughts on it?

DO you have any relevant photographs?

Is it easier to get to than the alternative play areas? Has it helped in that respect with reducing the effects of increased traffic by reducing the need to travel to access play and leisure facilities

Are other community groups making more use of the park since the changes?

Are Hinkley workers and their families using the park?

A good report will make it easier to seek funding for future projects so your help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

IMPORTANT- The track will be closed on Friday 21 April for most of the day to carry out scheduled maintenance work. Sorry for any inconvenience caused, but we need to keep it in good condition.
