Young Ollie’s Marin Alcatraz with us for a little sorting out this morning after taking a bit of punishment during the school holidays - Tektro rear brake had simply given up, plus a little accident with some stripped drive side pedal threads all sorted.

HUGE job on the cards today for this Santa Cruz Bronson C - lucky young Scott’s spent the whole Summer in Europe riding pretty much every known spot to man out there and, as you would imagine, this bikes had somewhat of a hard time! Its last day of the trip was Les Gets world champs track a day before practice and then it was driven straight back to us here at the shop. Almost every single item stripped/cleaned or replaced/upgraded ready to head off to Sheffield to take on the Yorkshire Winter.

Here at the workshop we know accidents happen, especially with a dirt jump bike - but as usual we always have a solution to get things sorted with minimal fuss. In this case this virtually new Marzocchi Bomber fork had sustained some damage to a stanchion and as single replacement wasn’t possible (due to it using an older Fox 36 Rhythm non evol leg) we sourced the last complete crown steerer assembly in the UK for the replacement - full fork service while we were in there and returned to the bike as good as new.

Beautiful brand new Cannondale SuperSix EVO paying us a visit to kick off September - not a huge amount to sort on a brand new £8k bike but after clocking up a few decent miles, Vincent wanted us to do the usual new bike first service checks plus chop some height from the front end. We also added a subtle finishing touch with some hub decals, loosing the bright red 240 logos in favour of a more fitting copper tone to really tie things together.

Well here we are at the end of August and what better way to end the month than with another custom build/frame-swap job! After 18months on Giant’s aero bike, the Propel - Luke decided it was lagging a little on the climbs & carrying around a little too much excess weight so wanted something a bit more nimble & comfortable for a better time in the saddle. We ditched the Propel chassis and filled its place with an awesome, timeless TCR SL.
