NEWTS WIN - In a wet and windy day Mass batted first and posted 146 all out. Most of the damage was done by Chris Wadham and Joe Hooper who had 3 wickets each. It was helped by two diving catches in the gully from Tom White.
The second innings was calculated but nothing was going to get the clubs leading run scorer out. James Stone ended 58* and showed his experience in an excellent run chase.

Monthly Roundup - A great month for the newts who managed 4 wins from 4 in the league. It was the month for the openers both with bat and ball! Dan Toft and John Farley with the Bat. Chris Wadham and Joe Hooper with the ball. Big moment for captain fantastic who managed to finally win the toss…
Only 3 games in June starting with a top of the table clash this Saturday vs Mass CC.

NEWTS WIN - Batting first the innings was held together with a magnificent 88 from John Farley before what can only be described as a bowling master class from Joe Hooper. 6 Overs, 5 Maidens, 1 Run and 3 Wickets.
Next week sees the Newts take on Mass in a top of the table clash, both teams currently unbeaten!

The sun was out and the crowed were treated to a masterclass from Mr worldwide. In possibly the most controlled innings he has played to date, Dan Toft brought but his 5th 💯 for the club in a 46 run victory over Ilton 2nd XI. 🏏 ☀️
