Faye's journey is a true testament to the transformative power of consistent effort and commitment to one's fitness goals.

At the outset of her training, Faye simply wanted to prepare for an upcoming trip to Japan, but she soon found herself falling in love with the process of getting stronger and fitter.

Over the course of two and a half years, Faye made incredible progress in both her strength and cardio fitness.

From starting out as a gym novice, she transformed into a functional pro, able to perform complex exercises like the clean and jerk and sn**ch with ease.
One of Faye's most notable accomplishments was achieving an 80kg deadlift, which is no small feat! But her journey was about more than just hitting specific numbers in the gym. She also gained a deeper understanding of sets, reps, and other training variables, which allowed her to make progress more efficiently and effectively.

As a result of her consistent efforts, Faye experienced significant improvements in her energy levels, confidence, and overall quality of life. She went from feeling unsure of herself in the gym to feeling empowered and capable of taking on new challenges.

Overall, Faye's success story is a reminder that with dedication, patience, and guidance from a skilled trainer, anyone can achieve their fitness goals and improve their physical and mental well-being.

Meet Ben.

Ben came to me when he had lost motivation for fitness and was struggling to find his stride. But together, we developed a plan to help him reach his goals and reignite his passion for exercise.

We focused on strength programming and functional fitness, which allowed Ben to make incredible progress over the course of several months. He pushed himself to new heights, including a 200kg deadlift and a 70kg overhead press.

But more importantly, he found new enthusiasm for his fitness journey.

In Ben's own words: "I lost a lot of motivation for fitness, but since taking PT sessions with Matt I have found new enthusiasm. His professional demeanour, friendly nature and knowledge mean I am not only getting fitter but am feeling mentally stronger and more capable than ever before."

It's inspiring to see someone go from feeling discouraged to feeling mentally strong and capable. Ben's dedication to his training paid off, and he achieved results beyond what he thought was possible.

Meet Tarsha. Tarsha came to me wanting to learn more about what exercises to do in the gym, how many sets and reps to perform for specific goals, and how to improve her overall fitness level.

Tarsha's goal was to achieve a 100kg hex-bar deadlift.

Together, we worked on a plan that included a combination of strength training and specific exercises to help her reach her goal. Tarsha pushed herself every session, working hard to increase her strength and overall fitness.

Recently, Tarsha has achieved her goal and pulled an impressive 105kg on the hex-bar deadlift. She's also been able to reach a 105kg hip thrust, which is a significant improvement from when she first started.

Tarsha’s feeling excited and more capable in the gym, creating her own workouts and has a better understanding of program design. She's now working on achieving pull-ups and Olympic lifting.

Tarsha's dedication to her training has paid off, and she's achieved remarkable results. It's inspiring to see how someone can work hard and reach their goals, especially when they were unsure of how to get there in the beginning.

Researchers found a significant boost in natural killer cell activity in men and women after they spent a weekend walking in the woods. The same results were even seen after just a one-day trip to the woods and with the same staying power of natural killer cell activity still boosted a week later.

In a study comparing walking in a city versus walking in a forest, 80 percent of the subjects walking in the woods experienced a boost in natural killer cell activity, compared to only one in ten of the city walkers. Moreover, researchers found that the increased natural killer cell activity lasted up to 30 days after the trip to the forest.
