Well done to Ryan who won the singles in the Barrie Smith Trophy Final played at Bridgwater this afternoon. This gives the rest of the team a good boost for the rest of the game. In the end Bridgwater won by 3 disciplines to 1.

Very well done to all those who organised or took part in the very successful away day at Plymouth Sir Francis Drake Bowls Club on Thursday. Halden Hill and the Devon Express way were conquered without incident and Wetherspoons coped well with our mass invasion. We were then very warmly welcomed at the bowls club; the tea went down well; the drinks afterwards were much appreciated and the bowls... ? The weather held off and after a friendly but hard-fought game Bridgwater emerged as the very narrow winners. The day concluded with a safe return for all. Let's hope that these sociable and fun away day fixtures will continue to be supported in the future.

West Somerset Bowls League - Bridgwater A got a maximum 12 points from their 64 - 29 win at Taunton Deane in the final game of the season on Thursday evening. They just missed out on winning the league as Williton also got 12 points from their final match.
