We offer a FREE trial and training 3 times a week with separate kids classes as well as Beginners/Intermediate classes and training for Black Belt students. Excalibur Martial Arts and Junior Dragons Taekwondo in Bridgnorth, Shropshire, is proudly affiliated to the GTI (Global Taekwondo International) which has offered Tae Kwon Do classes in Bridgnorth since it's inception in 1993. We are a very su
ccessful, and the longest running, Tae Kwon Do club in Bridgnorth as well as being one of the largest clubs within the GTI. We follow the ITF syllabus for colour belt and black belt students and a bespoke syllabus for our Junior Dragons classes, written by our Chief Instructor. Excalibur Martial Arts' Chief Instructor, Mr McGinley, holds the rank of 6th Dan Black Belt. He has trained in Tae Kwon Do for over 28 years and is a qualified Instructor, Referee and Umpire. Mr McGinley has had many achievements and won many medals over the years, reprising his tournament success in 2019 where he took Bronze in Men's Veterans Heavy Weight Sparring. He has had the privilege of coaching Regional, National and International and World champion medal winners at Excalibur Martial Arts. We have fantastic support from our Assistant Instructors at Excalibur and all our leaders are fully trained, Enhanced DBS checked, insured and 1st Aid qualified. Our leaders are proactive, undertaking continued professional development in the form of seminars, courses and, of course, training for their own Dan gradings. Excalibur is like an extended family to our students. We train together but also enjoy social events, days out, tournaments, seminars, demonstrations and so much more!
