Sportsview Coaching is a sport coaching and teaching company based in Bridgnorth, Shropshire, stablished in 2015, that aims to meet the needs of young children aged 5-18 regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, social economic factors, and ability levels. High quality Physical Education sessions are provided to primary and secondary school delivering safe, enjoyable, fun, and relevant Physical Educa
tion and Sport lessons. The organisation has been established by Simon Gregory (current Shropshire CCC and Bridgnorth CC and AFC Bridgnorth and ex AFC Telford, Merthyr Tydfil FC, and Market Drayton Town FC player). The motivation for the development of the company and young people in Physical Education comes from the experiences Simon has had within Physical Education and Sport. Simon is a trained Physical Education teacher having worked as Physical Education Teacher at Wrockwardine Wood Arts Academy between 2012-2014. Simon has achieved a PGCE Secondary (Physical Education) including Masters’ credits and also has achieved a First Class Honours degree in Sport and Physical Education from the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff. In addition to this Simon has various accreditations from a vast range of sport including ECB Level 2.5 (club coach) in cricket and F.A Level 2 football coaching award. Sportview Coaching is designed to be able to offer a range and teaching and coaching alternatives including: extra curricular sessons (e.g., Lunchtime and after school clubs and session), support with PPA (P.E) cover, and additional staff and teacher continued professional development. Sportsview Coaching are able to liaise and advise schools regarding Physical Education and School Sport in order to maximise facilities, deliver staff CPD, and provide and assist with lesson planning/schemes of work.
