Karen Summers was, once again, well ahead of her rivals in the V50F category. But in Round 12 at Walsall Arboretum, she was ahead of everyone - winning the Womens race overall. That's some achievement in a League like ours, which has a particularly strong women's field.

Karen demonstrates that it is possible to stay at the top, and even to improve with experience. As well as the win, she was second overall in Round 6 and third in Round 8. She was consistently in the Top 7.

Round 2 at the Heart of England Centre was Karen's favourite race this year. That was certainly a gruelling course! She also enjoyed the support and encouragement she got from Mick Ives and his team.

Her season was cut short by Covid, but it was a great year nevertheless. Well done Karen!
