15 minute drive north off the M4 Motorway (junction 36) between Cwmcarn and Afan Argoed. 15 mile drive from the Afan Valley. A 3km Blue graded trail with singletrack and a swooping final descent with fantastic berms. Gellideg Trail. A 3.2km Black graded trail. Begins by riding the first section of 'Blue' trail to connect with this 'black' trail. A killer climb to test even the fittest, then you will be rewarded with one of the best and most varied descents around. Dropping through berms, steep bombholes and over technical rock features through a stunning natural quarry. Enough to keep you on the edge!. Link both trails together to form a 6km loop and extended descent. Project funded by Welsh Assembly, Bridgend County Borough Council and Garw Valley Community Council. FYI. The car park at Parc Calon Lan will be closed off for the next several weeks due to temporary works on the lake. Trails are still easily accessed from the community route via the bridges above and below the lake from the street. Ta
