HYROX is coming to

We are very excited to be bringing to Bridgend, becoming a official Hyrox partner gym.

We will be delivering dedicated classes and programming for members to prepare optimally for the hyrox race, bringing the special sauce of community, culture, coaching and environment at Addix this is going to be a recipe we can’t wait to start cooking!

HYROX is the World Series of fitness racing, unlike the sport of CrossFit which is constantly varied, Hyrox is a fixed event that doesn’t change, just like your 5k park run, half marathon or triathlon, you know the event ahead of time and what to expect.

Hyrox is accessible to all fitness levels, a combination of 1k runs, ski Erg, row Erg, with functional movement stations in between. A total of 8k running and 8 functional stations.

The functional stations are challenging yet accessible with a low skill element, making it a great test for every body.

These elements of the HYROX race are something that we specialise in coaching at Addix fitness, our Metcon Lite class embraces the same philosophy and methodology, of low skill and load coupled with cardio and functional elements which we have been delivering to our community for years.

Now there is a dedicated race to prepare for to test out all your hard work.

Something we very excited to be being to Bridgend.

Hyrox is not only a great test, but also great additional training for CrossFit athletes, endurance athletes and functional fitness enthusiasts alike!

For the endurance athletes, getting that dose of functional strength endurance and for the CrossFit athlete getting that dose of engine and capacity work.

And guess what even if you’re not interested in racing these classes will be absolutely epic for getting in and staying in phenomenal shape! 🔥
