Afternoon everyone. Ive just had this from Cardiff museum. Anyone wishing to take anything to record, book a slot and pop along.

I'm just letting you know about a Finds Day that we're having at the National Museum Cardiff on Sunday 1st February 2026. The purpose of the Finds Days is for folks to drop off their finds for identification/recording, and at the next Finds Day they can pick them up.
This is the first of what will hopefully be a regular occurrence of having designated days on a weekend to better accommodate working folks that struggle to get to the museum during the week . It also means there's more structure and rhythm to recording and returning so that folks don't end up waiting ages to get their finds back.
If this date works for you, then we can have your sword belt hanger + David's coin weight ready to return. If anyone else in your club has finds 300+ years old to record, please do let them know about it!
