About Jenni:
I am a qualified teacher with a degree in Music and a Masters in Music Education. I play piano, saxophone, flute and clarinet and am a keen choral singer. I’ve been teaching for 20 years and have a vast amount of experience working with adults of all abilities, teaching music of all styles; classical, jazz and popular music. I especially enjoy creating arrangements for my ensembles and workshops and the buzz of putting a new song together with a group, for the first time, and teaching improvisation!

✨🎶🎷J A Z Z I M P R O V I S A T I O N classes starting Thursday 26th September in Portreath. This is a 12-week course teaching the basics of improvisation open to anyone who is interested in learning more about playing jazz and freeing themselves from just following the music!

All abilities welcome (although some proficiency on your instrument is necessary - please contact me for more details)

This class is open to: saxophones, flutes, clarinets, trumpets & all brass instruments, bassists & drummers. If I’ve missed something out that you’re keen to bring along, please get in touch!

This is a 12-week course teaching the basics of singing, reading music, singing from music and singing in parts - great skills to have if you want to join a choir, write songs, improve your vocals or just come along and enjoy yourself!

All abilities welcome - the class is aimed at adults but if you are interested for a child please feel free to get in touch.

The course consists of 12 Thursdays from 26th September to 12th December from 6.30-7.30pm in Portreath.
