Big changes are coming to the gym at Lagoon Leisure Centre! 🙌

From this Sunday 7 June, the gym will temporarily close while we carry out a major upgrade as part of our ongoing investment in our facilities. 💪 When we reopen on Saturday 20 June, members can look forward to:

- Brand-new Life Fitness cardio equipment
- New specialist flooring in the free weights zone
- Bespoke free weight rack system from IndigoFitness
- An EGYM Fitness Hub, helping you access personalised workouts and track your progress with ease
- Immersive LED lighting within gym and studio spaces

Plus, our new Wexer Virtual suite, bringing a range of virtual fitness experiences to Lagoon ✨

Please note: the swimming pool, group exercise classes and all other Lagoon Leisure Centre facilities will remain open as normal throughout the gym improvement works.

Lagoon Leisure Centre will close on Sunday 7 June for a major transformation! 🏋️‍♂️

This is a huge part of our journey of continuous investment in our venues. We are bringing you new flooring at the free-weight area and immersive lighting along with a brand-new Life Fitness free weights area and an EGYM Fitness Hub for a totally personalised training journey.

Look out for our new Virtual Wexer suite which will be ready to use before the closure.

We can't wait to see you when we reopen on Saturday 20 June.

What a fantastic afternoon at the Lagoon Leisure Centre this past Wednesday!

As part of , we held a special session to support Craig Ferguson’s incredible 3,000-mile walk for mental health. Craig’s mother, Joan, is a valued member of our team and it was wonderful to see the community rally behind such a meaningful cause.

It was a brilliant atmosphere as visitors and staff took to the treadmill to walk in solidarity with Craig throughout the session. We are thrilled to announce that we helped raise £190 in cash on the day, in addition to online donations. It was great to see so many families getting involved with lots of happy kids heading home with mini flags and Scottish wash-off tattoos.

The money raised makes a massive difference to SAMH, but as Joan shared with us, the most important thing is raising awareness. If you couldn’t make it down, you can still support Craig’s journey and his advocacy for mental health via his sponsorship page below.

A new Parent & Toddler swimming class is starting at Johnstone Pool on Monday 1 June from 3:30pm–4:00pm.

Please attend Johnstone Community Sports Hub to confirm booking (bank details required).

Spaces are available on a first come, first served basis.

The block will run for 9 weeks and payment will be taken by direct debit.

Renfrewshire, we need your energy! 🏃

We are proud to support Paisley’s own Craig Ferguson, who is currently halfway through an epic 3,000-mile walk across the United States.

This mission is close to our hearts because Craig’s mum, Joan, is a valued member of the OneRen team. As Craig braves the elements in his kilt across the US, we want to show him and his family that his home community is rooting for him.

🗓️ Join us at Lagoon Leisure Centre on Wednesday 13 May 3pm to 7pm.

We will have a treadmill on-site for the duration of the session so you can come down and help us clock some miles in solidarity with Craig while he is out on the road.

Come along to learn more about the Tartan Trek and how you can help Craig raise awareness and funds for mental health services in Scotland. Whether you are a member of the Tartan Army or just want to support mental health awareness, we will see you at the Lagoon!
