More than 12,000 attended this event & we were proud to have been asked to take part for the 3rd year running. Each year it gets better and better. Can't wait until next year!!

What an absolutely fantastic day at the Brentwood Borough Council Strawberry Fair.

Thank you to everyone who took part in our activity today. We met some incredible people who gave Kung Fu a go plus all the teens who took part in my knife awareness sessions.

It was absolutely brilliant to see so many of our students (& some ex students) and their families attending the event. I wish I had more time to speak to everyone who was there, but we were just so busy!!

The highlights were

👊 Catching up with Nimo from TSE (Tri Sport Essex)
👊 Finally getting to eat the excellent food from Wrapstars
👊 Chatting all things movement and AI with The Chiropractic Centre - Brentwood

Plus teaching Woody, Jessie & the Huntrix girls some Kung Fu.

If you are coming along to the excellent Brentwood Borough Council Strawberry Fair tomorrow, please head over and say hi 👋

We are running free, fun, Kung Fu taster activities for all ages all day!!

We also will be bringing our traditional Wing Chun training equipment, including the famous Wing Chun Wooden Dummy (Mok Jong). Check out our live Kung Fu demos all day!

Lastly, and most importantly, we will be running free, knife awareness self-defence workshops throughout the event too.

2026 marks our 3rd year running this brilliant community event, and I want it to be the biggest and best one yet!!

If you know someone who is currently in Year 6, then please consider attending 1 or more of my free sessions over the summer.
These sessions are open to anyone in Year 6, not just Brentwood residents!!

Our sessions cover a huge range of situations, including what to do if confronted with a knife.

Huge thanks needs to go to Essex Police - Brentwood District & for their support by funding this project.
