Mid Wales Meteors basketball club Mid Wales Meteors is a Powys Wheelchair Basketball team. We have training hubs in both Newtown (occasional) and Gwernyfed (Brecon) (weekly).

Beginners to advanced welcome! Mid Wales Meteors are a wheelchair basketball club based in Three C***s near Brecon with players from across Powys and the surrounding area. We train at Gwernyfed High School Sports centre where we have a weekly training on wednesday 7-9 pm during term time. We participate in the Welsh Wheelchair Basketball Development league. We welcome people of all abilities as long as you can self propel a chair. We welcome any players from 10 years old and upwards.

The Mid Wales Meteors will be back training on April 26 th tomorrow and the 3rd of May at Brecon Leisure Centre 5-6 pm .We look forward to seeing new and old members , price £3 per person , sports wheelchairs available , for anyone who wants to train for Basketball and is able to self propel a wheelchair, hope to see you there message me or Fran for more details , thanks Bev Tucker

Hi Everyone , we are pleased to announce that a Junior training session will be held at Llandrindod Wells High School tomorrow 17th of November at 4 -5 .15 pm . Looking forward to getting back on the court and a return to fun , fitness and skills training . Watch this space for details of more training sessions to follow with the Mid Wales Meteors .
