The Managers' Player award recognises someone whose impact goes far beyond goals and assists, and this season Jade Maddy has been that player.

Strong, creative and determined, Jade has been the driving force in midfield all year. Whether tracking back to defend, creating chances, or producing moments of quality when the team has needed them most, she has led by example and helped keep us moving forward.

Off the pitch, she brings just as much to the squad, with her positivity, energy and trademark "Good vibes only" attitude making her a huge part of the dressing room. Add in the occasional Tequila Rose appearance, and it's easy to see why she's such a valued member of the club!

The Players' Player award is always a special one because it comes directly from the squad, and this season it couldn't have been any closer. In fact, the first vote ended with four players tied on exactly the same number of votes - Bethan Walton, Sophie Combstock, Jade Maddy and Molly Ikin, a real reflection of the quality and togetherness within the team this year.

After a tie break vote, the award went to Molly Ikin. A player who has been outstanding all season, bringing energy, determination and consistency every time she steps onto the pitch. Strong, quick and always one step ahead, Molly has been a threat going forward while never shying away from the hard work required for the team.

More importantly, she's a true teammate who gives everything for the badge and is exactly the kind of person every dressing room needs. Congratulations, Molly, on being voted our Players' Player of the Season! 👏⚽️

Our Young Player of the Season award goes to Milly Tame, whose commitment and determination to improve have been clear for everyone to see.

One of the quickest players in the squad, Milly has used her pace to great effect all season, creating chances, providing assists and causing constant problems for opposition defences. Playing in one of the most competitive positions in the team, she has consistently risen to the challenge and become a reliable presence on the right wing.

Her hard work, positive attitude and willingness to learn have made her a hugely important part of the squad, and there's no doubt she has a very bright future ahead in a Talgarth Ladies shirt.

Our Top Goalscorer award goes to Kirsty Rea, who has enjoyed another outstanding season in front of goal.

Whether leading the line or playing in an attacking midfield role, Kirsty has consistently delivered when the team has needed her most. Her quality on the ball, determination and eye for goal have made her a key part of our attack, while her set-piece delivery and willingness to take responsibility have been invaluable.

As well as scoring an impressive 20 goals in all competitions, Kirsty also contributed 12 assists, highlighting just how much she brings to the team both as a scorer and a creator.

Our Most Assists award goes to Sophie Combstock after another outstanding season in the heart of midfield.

A key part of our midfield trio, Sophie has been the link between defence and attack all year, using her vision, composure and creativity to unlock opposition defences and keep the team moving forward. When games have been tough, she's often been the player to help turn them around.

Sophie finished the season with an incredible 16 assists, as well as scoring three superb long-range goals of her own. Her experience, football intelligence and selfless style of play make her an invaluable member of the squad.

A special mention also goes to Emily Price, who finished second in the assists chart after another excellent campaign. Congratulations, Sophie, on a fantastic season! 👏⚽️

This season's Defender of the Season award was simply too close to call, with two players standing out above the rest for everything they have brought to the back line.

Catrin Davies has brought pace, determination and a fearless willingness to put her body on the line for the team, never giving up on a challenge and always ready to recover when needed.

Taran Fitzgerald has provided composure, intelligence and the ability to read the game brilliantly, staying calm under pressure and helping build attacks from the back.

What makes them so effective is how well they complement each other. No matter where they've been asked to play, they've adapted, performed and always put the team first. After weeks of trying to separate them, there was only one fair outcome.

Bethan's development over the last two seasons has been incredible. Through hard work and a real desire to improve, she has grown into a vital member of the squad, taking on the demanding role of goalkeeper with bravery, maturity and some outstanding reflexes.

What really sets her apart is her commitment. She hasn't missed a single training session or game all season and is always one of the first to arrive, ready to give everything for the team regardless of the weather or circumstances.

As Bethan heads off to university, she'll be greatly missed around the club. Congratulations on a fantastic season and thank you for everything you've given to Talgarth Ladies! 👏⚽️

On Saturday Evening we hosted our Annual End of Season Awards Dinner.

Everyone at the club would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who helped make the event a success, your efforts and support are greatly appreciated. Also a massive thank you to the sponsors for sponsoring the awards and players throughout the season.

Over the next few hours we will be revealing all of the award winners.

This year's Most Improved Player award goes to Kierra Altree, whose progress throughout the season has been outstanding.

Through hard work, commitment and a real desire to improve, Kierra has developed into a calm and reliable presence across the back line. Her composure on the ball, confidence in possession and ability to play out from defence have all improved massively and have helped her earn a regular place in the starting eleven.

Her attitude has been excellent all season, giving 100% in every training session and match while showing great team spirit and a fantastic work ethic.

Kierra's development is a great example of what can be achieved through dedication and perseverance, and we're excited to see her continue to grow. Congratulations on a brilliant season! 👏⚽️

Talgarth ladies would like to extend a huge thank you to Gareth Davies for inviting us along to the Wales Ladies training session ahead of their big game on Tuesday evening.

We toured the facilities and made a list of everything that is now a necessity for Talgarth, like the boot room and incredible gym.

Watching the ladies train was a highlight of the day, and it was great chatting with the inspirational .

We ended the day meeting a few of the players in the lobby, and got to ask those all important questions, we can conclude that the pro’s have confirmed that:

1. The general consensus is thongs for match day to avoid wedgies
2. Training in trainer socks with ankles showing is 'criminal'

We’re really greatful for this opportunity and would like to wish FA Wales the best of luck for the game tonight against Czechia. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

After a great performance we are heading into our second competitive season playing in Division 1 of the South Wales Women’s and Girls League.

Whether you are an experienced player or looking for a fresh challenge, anyone is welcome to come along!

Pre season training starts on the 23rd of June 18:30-20:00

Our schedule includes weekly training sessions on Tuesday evenings, with matches played on Sundays.
