St George's House

St George's House We are an Outdoor Centre that has been running for over 40 years set up to provide great activities in a friendly environment, staffed by Christians.

We are an Outdoor Centre that has been running for over 40 years set up to provide great activities in a friendly environment, staffed by Christians but available to all. Situated in North Devon, only 1.5 miles from some fantastic surf beaches. We have accommodation for up to 50 young people and only host one group at a time. Our full time staff can offer a wide range of activities such as Surfing

, Climbing, Kayaking, Canoeing, Mountain biking, Coasteering and many more. We have many Primary and Secondary schools using us for their activity residentials as well as church youth groups and other organisations for weekends away. Our emphasis is on getting to know the guests as individuals and providing as memorable an experience as possible.

It's been a little while! However we've not been sitting around doing nothing we promise.

This winter we have been getting on with some upgrades at the centre, fixing up beds, our adventure play area and a fresh new look for the kitchen. This week we welcomed back our full team from their winter adventures, including two new faces, Tim and Tom.

The new season starts now and we can't wait to welcome you all back!

We had a brilliant week with our last school group of the year. We ended our day walk at our favourite local surf beach. A big high tide and mega waves, meant our group could enjoy an ice cream, whilst watching some incredible surfers put on a show. The children were inspired by the joy of catching waves, ready to get in the water for themselves the very next day!
