A message from Joel -
As many of you already know, I will soon be heading off to Dubai to begin an exciting new chapter and adventure coaching at Speedo Swim Squads.
While this isn’t a permanent goodbye, it does mean stepping away from the club for a while, which is something I will certainly miss. This club has been a huge part of my life, and I feel incredibly lucky to have shared so many memories, achievements, and friendships with such an amazing group of swimmers, coaches, parents, and volunteers.
I want to say a huge thank you to everyone for all of the support, encouragement, and laughs over the years. Being part of this club has meant so much to me, and I am proud to have been a part of such a fantastic community.
Although I’ll be swapping one pool for another, I look forward to keeping up with all of the club’s successes from afar and, of course, I fully intend to pop back whenever I can.
For anyone who would like to keep up with my Dubai adventure I will be setting up a instagram page for you all to follow.
Thank you all for being such a special part of my journey so far. This isn’t goodbye—just the start of a new adventure.
