Forest Focus.......

This weekend sees the first of three spring foraging courses at St Helens Picnic Site, Thetford Forest organised by Wild Food UK.

There will also be a Carriage Driving event organised by Cambridge & West Suffolk Driving Club within the Santon Downham Woods, Thetford Forest area. St Helens Picnic Site, Thetford Forest.

Within Gt Hockham Woods, Thetford Forest, Let's Go Alpacas will be walking their Alapacas. Hedingham Alpacas.

On Saturday within Shouldham Woods, Thetford Forest Kings Lynn MTB will have a coaching session.

Forest Focus......

This weekend we have Alpaca walks organised by Let's Go Alpacas within Gt Hockham Woods, Thetford Forest.

Within Kings Forest, Thetford Forest there is a sled dog race.

Within Harling Woods, Thetford Forest there is a horseride organised by Iceni Endurance GB.

Within Santon Downham Woods, Thetford Forest and Shouldham Woods, Thetford Forest there are small scale Cycling events.

This weekend there will be a CRoW closure within the Santon Downham area which means there will be no public access, this is for the annual DISS MCC Ltd Motorbike Enduro.
St Helens Picnic Site, Thetford Forest

Within Gt Hockham Woods, Thetford Forest on Saturday Let's Go Alpacas will be active and on Sunday Norfolk & Suffolk Junior Motor Cycle Club Limited will be active.

Within Shouldham Woods, Thetford Forest there will be a running event organised by Ryston Runners AC.

update for Shouldham Woods, Thetford Forest

The harvesting team will finally be accessing the woodland after the school holidays around the 18th April to clear the storm damage. We expect them to working for about a week.

The guys will only be extracting the wood to ride edges at this stage and we will hauling the wood away at a later date.

For a week or so from the 18th April onwards please could you avoid using the woodland and the wildltrails.

We will keep you updated on the works through facebook!
