Join us, the Friday of the October half term (the day before Halloween) amongst the autumn leaves for magic shows, bubble performances, pumpkin carving and crafts as well as local stalls selling unique gifts and handmade items.
There is enough to keep you busy on the main green all day but should you wish to explore deeper into the forest you will find Room on the Broom trail, bike trails and huge play offer through the trees. π²
This is a free event with no booking or ticket needed. Normal parking charges apply which means Forestry England members come for free. You can pre-pay your parking and receive a small discount on all day parking and avoid the queues. Check out pre-paid parking on our website π
Weβre thrilled to be joined by Wayne Goodman and the bubble witch, who will again be delivering a series of performances throughout the day. There is plenty to do on the day without leaving the main green if you delve deeper into the forest to explore there is so much to discover. You may find our sound trail, Gruffalo sculptures or just a quiet spot to have lunch. π²
Visitors will be able to carve a pumpkin (and not have to deal with the mess!) and then take it home before trick or treaters the next day. We will be running a pumpkin carving competition as well as a fancy dress competition with some great prizes. π
