Arms Length Training Activities in Binley Woods.

Prior to the hard lockdown, a few regulars at the Rosey and the Rugby club were looking at ways we might carry on training responsibly. In an era of social distancing, with lockdown easing, does anyone fancy revisiting this?

I was thinking a bit of a circuit (with sanitisation obvs) and some distanced bleep test runs, etc in the parks as an opener. Anyone else want to get involved with ideas (or kit), etc?

Given that outdoorsy meets of more than 2 are on lockdown, what online stuff are people looking at e.g. Strava apps, etc?

In light of current governance closing gyms & all the usual social meeting places, it seemed a good idea to look at some sensible options to maintain ourselves physically and psychologically.

Self isolation implies solitude, but with sensible preparation, planning & ex*****on, it needn't.

As a community, we have a breadth of interests & talents. As the name of this page suggests, I propose that, provided we maintain safety and hygiene by keeping a well reasoned distance between, we can support one another during this unusual period without risk to health.

With an abundance of open spaces and the prospect of improving weather conditions, as well as modern comms tech, there is nothing to stop us getting some exercise and catching up with pals 'at arms length'.

Now this page is set up and the suitable note of caution has been struck for the thoughtcrime brigade, it's over to you: ideas please & maybe we'll look to get some events going on?
