Day 1 of Gelt Gladiator 2026 is complete and what a day it was! 🔥

Now it’s time for the junior Gladiators to take on the 4K challenge! ⚔️ 🏃‍♂️

We’ve spent the evening reviewing feedback, walking the course, and making a few adjustments and improvements ready for today’s Junior 4K. We’re always learning, always improving, and always looking at how we can make the Gelt Gladiator experience even better.

Whether you’re taking on Gelt Gladiator for the first time or returning for another year, we can’t wait to see you all out on the course.

Let’s make Day 2 just as memorable as Day 1! 🔥

🚨IMPORTANT REMINDERS🚨

⚠️ There is another event taking place in Walton today which means there will be an increased number of pedestrians in the area. Please drive carefully and respectfully.

📍 FINDING US

You can also search “Gelt Gladiator” on Google Maps. The Event Village and Car Park are located near CA8 2JR (please note this is not the exact event location). Follow event signage from the A69 and A689.

🚦 TRAFFIC & ROUTING

A one-way traffic system will be in operation due to narrow roads and high traffic volumes.

Please follow all event signage and marshal instructions. Please remember that public roads remain open and there may be non-event traffic travelling in both directions, be patient with other road users.

If travelling from the East, please continue along the A69 to Brampton, even if your sat-nav suggests an alternative route.

💧 Stay Hydrated, Gladiators! 💧

Whether you’re tackling the obstacles, conquering the mud, or simply cheering on friends and family from the sidelines, it’s important to stay hydrated throughout the day.

A huge thank you to our hydration sponsor Aqua Pura, who will be helping keep participants, volunteers and spectators refreshed all weekend long 💦💦

You’ll find complimentary Aqua Pura water available at our water stations around the course and within the Event Village, so be sure to grab a bottle and stay topped up throughout the day.

The latest forecast is looking pretty decent for Gelt Gladiator weekend, with temperatures expected to reach 18°C on Sunday. While it might be a bit breezy today, current forecasts suggest dry conditions are expected for the rest of the weekend 🌤️

Here’s hoping the forecast behaves itself and we’re in for a fantastic weekend!
