A very sad, emotional but proud morning!

Sad, that after 7 amazing years. OCRC as we know it has ended.

Emotional, that despite so many setbacks. Our little venue has struggled on. Largely due the loyalty of several incredible humans who have persevered and supported the course from day 1. Love you all!

But proud, to of met some amazing people, who have gone on to achieve incredible things. Competing in Euro and World OCR Championships. Elite or Age Group Spartan Races or hitting those Open wave races. Nuclear Races, Rat Races, Whole and Boss Hogs and many many many more! It has been an adventure and a privilege to of hosted 2 amazing National OCR Time Trial events, which saw the course hammered with incredible talent and super competitive action!

Thank you to everyone who has ever taken on the course! Also, to those who made a special effort to come to our last pay and play session. It was great to see you and to recieve wonderful cards with poignant words and this amazing cake!!

Teamwork makes the dreamwork!!

Team Saint Burnhard today, having already completed the course!! Was great for the team to push the challenge from start to finish!

The weather had certainly warmed up by then, which added to the difficulty a little bit. It's a 400m lap, each participant completed approx 100m each!!

Amazing job to you all!!

It is with a very heavy heart!

To announce, that OCRC shall be closing its doors by the end of the month!

It's been an incredible 7 years, with lots of amazing highs and unfortunately following covid, many many lows. It has genuinely been an incredible experience to host the sessions and to welcome many people from those new to OCR to those with lots of Obstacle racing experience.

But for now and for several reasons, our race is over!!

Having hosted some wonderful charity events, 2 national time trials events and finals, local football and rugby teams and several birthday parties. It's safe to say the course has pushed many to their limits.

It was with immense pride that 3 of our regular customers pushed themselves to qualify for the OCR World Championships. Then worked their asses off to compete at the World Championships in 2019. One of my proudest coach moments.

I will miss the sessions dearly. It's been an massive part of my life for 7 years and will leave a huge void in what has been so fun to me! I also know it'll leave a void in my regular OCRC's, who I thank from the depths of my heart to continue to come to the sessions.

Finally, a big thank you to everyone who over the years has taken on our course or has been involved in any of our events. We certainly had a good go at it that's for sure.

So there will be 3 Pay and Play sessions left. Last session being the 25th May 2024!

He came, he pulled, he conquered!!

A massive well done to Xav, who gave our "Saint Burnhard" challenge a go!

Completing the gruelling 400m trudge with a tractor tyre in an impressive 7 minutes and 13 seconds. Amazing work bud. You dug in deep from the start and pushed through the entire way!

UNAUTHORISED use of our obstacle course is PROHIBITED!!

CCTV footaged has been obtained of unauthorised use on the course and vandalism to equipment from last weekend.
