Youth & Mini round up ⬆️
U9’s
This Sunday saw us head to Westcliff for a fantastic summer morning of rugby.
Festivals are always a highlight, and this one certainly didn’t disappoint. With both teams playing four games each, we were treated to some brilliant rugby and great team performances throughout.
This week’s Players of the Match go to Eve and Callie. These two are becoming a real force to be reckoned with! Their powerful runs consistently gained us valuable metres, and it’s been amazing to watch their confidence grow week by week.
Well done, girls — thoroughly deserved!
U11’s
Under 11’s spent a sunny afternoon at Westcliff Festival and had a great time!! The team loved the chance to play different teams and have a full afternoon of rugby! After a shaky start in the first game, we soon got our heads in the game and worked as a team. The final two games were amazing and the team showed what they can do!
Today marked a farewell to Joshua and his family who are moving back to South Africa, we all wish them the best of luck, Josh will be missed. He put in an amazing final performance to then be awarded man of the match for his excellent communication, focus and some brilliant tackles!
Next week TOUR and we can’t wait!!!
U12’s
Barbarians took on burnham at home on Sunday, both teams showed some fantastic rugby.
Great to see this team improving week after week. They put themselves out there and deliver every time.
