Who are the leading contenders to go to the tournament in France as Europe 1 and Europe 2?

1 year and 7 months until the RWC is (hopefully) within reasonable travelling distance for us. However, if you are going to watch from the UK, we plan to show all games at the club, with offers on food and drink, and maybe prizes and surprises!
Kicking off with an opening party on Friday 8th September, with games being shown right through until a closing party on Saturday 28th October.

Doors open at 8am for the 8.15am kick-off, so no need to get up too early. Big Scrum Breakfasts served while you watch.

Having made it through this far, thank goodness, we now have the following England games scheduled:

Saturday 19th October 8.15 kick-off
England v Australia
(we need to know if there is any interest in watching this at the club as the last game cost the club money as only Barrie and Adrian turned up to watch and we were fully staffed. We realise that a percentage of the membership will be at the Simon Fookes fundraiser, but if anyone else intends to come along, please let us know)

Saturday 26th October 9.00 kick-off
England/Australia v New Zealand/Ireland

Saturday 2nd November 9.00 kick-off
RUGBY WORLD CUP FINAL
Club will open at 8.00.

ENGLAND v FRANCE MATCH IN TOKIO CANCELLED.
Due to the impending Typhoon Hagibis due to hit Tokio tomorrow, RWC 2019 organisers have decided on the following:

Saturday, 12 October

Pool A match between Ireland and Samoa in Fukuoka at 19:45 JST to be played as scheduled

Pool B match between New Zealand and Italy to be cancelled

Pool C match between England and France to be cancelled

Teams will be awarded 2 points each.

Every effort will be made to ensure that games scheduled for Sunday will go ahead.

England v Argentina will be shown at the club. Doors open at 8am game at 9am. Big Scrum breakfasts just £6.50. Offers on Japanese beer, gin and sake, plus World Cup beer and lager.
