START THEIR SWIMMING JOURNEY EARLY

Babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers, there’s no need to wait until they’re older to get them confident in the water.

Our daytime swimming lessons in Dunmow are the perfect place to start.

Held in our lovely warm pool, our sessions are designed to introduce little ones to the water, build their confidence and start teaching those all-important swimming skills from an early age.

Parent & Baby classes – get in the water together, have fun and help your little one become happy and confident in the pool.

Tiny Splashers child-only classes – perfect for pre-schoolers ready to get in without a parent and start learning to swim independently with our fantastic teachers.

OUR TEACHERS DON’T JUST TEACH FROM POOLSIDE… THEY GET IN!

One of the things that makes Splash & Glide special is our fantastic teachers.

They’re right there in the pool with your children — demonstrating, encouraging, supporting and helping them build confidence every step (or splash!) of the way.

For children who are nervous or just starting out, having their teacher right there can make such a difference. And as their confidence grows, we’re there to help them develop their technique, independence and swimming skills.

It’s about getting to know each swimmer, understanding what they need and helping them progress at their own pace.

We currently have spaces across our classes at Dunmow and Gosfield, from little ones beginning their swimming journey to older children developing their skills.

We’re looking for a friendly, confident and reliable Poolside Assistant (PSA) to join the Splash & Glide team.

You must be aged 16+ and comfortable chatting to both children and parents.

Your role will include:

• Welcoming swimmers and parents to the pool
• Ticking off registers
• Answering simple questions and queries
• Supporting our swimming teachers and assistants
• Fetching equipment and helping set up lessons
• Helping clear away and close down the pool after classes

The details:

Casual hours
Minimum 3-hour shifts
Minimum wage
Age 16+
Pools in Gosfield and Dunmow - must have means to travel to and from the pool
Great experience for anyone considering becoming a swimming teacher

This could be the perfect first step into working in swimming, giving you the chance to learn how lessons run, work alongside our experienced teachers and become part of the Splash & Glide team.

SUNDAYS ARE NEARLY FULL!

Our Sunday swimming lessons at Gosfield have had a brilliant start to the new term — and we now only have a few spaces left!

From little ones starting their swimming journey to children building their confidence, skills and independence in the water, our Sunday sessions are a lovely way to get them swimming every week.

We have classes for:

9.30am Parent & Baby - full
10am Tiny Splashers 2.5-4yr Child only - full
10.30am Stages 1 & 2 - 2 spaces
11.00am Stages 3 & 4 - 3 spaces
11.30 Stages 1 & 2 - full
12noon Parent & Baby - 2 spaces

WE’RE BACK!

What a fantastic start to the new term we’ve had!

It’s been so lovely welcoming all our swimmers back to the pool and seeing lots of new faces joining Splash & Glide too.

With quite a bit of moving around between classes at the start of term, we’ve now got a few spaces available at both Dunmow (Lawana) and Gosfield.

SWIMMING BAGS AT THE READY... WE’RE BACK NEXT WEEK! 💦

How was your summer? ☀️ Did you manage to get lots of swimming in?

We’ve missed seeing our Splash & Glide swimmers and we’re VERY excited to be getting back in the pool from Monday!

A little reminder for our existing swimmers: if you haven’t paid your invoice for the new term yet, please make sure it’s paid before your lessons start next week.

Already paid? You’re all sorted! Just find the goggles, swimming hat and that towel that somehow always disappears when you need it. 😂

We can’t wait to see everyone back in the water, building confidence, learning new skills and having fun.
