Shoulder pain doesn’t automatically mean you need to stop training altogether.
In many cases, continuing to train is possible, but you may need to make some adjustments.
This could include:
✔️ Reducing load or range of movement
✔️ Swapping exercises for more comfortable alternatives
✔️ Incorporating specific rehab exercises to build strength and capacity
Completely avoiding movement isn’t always the answer, and pushing through significant pain rarely is either.
The key is finding the right balance for you.
If shoulder pain keeps returning or is stopping you from training the way you’d like to, it may be time to get it assessed.
