NEW MARTIAL ARTS CLUB OPENING!
We are Bradford Tomiki Aikido Club a newly launched Tomiki (Sport) Aikido class in the Undercliffe (BD5) area at Kent’s Gym. After being open for a number of years we are relaunching our class with a brand new structure in search of new junior and adult member with a taster session being held on Saturday 6th of July.
- JUNIORS (AGES 5-13) 11am - 12pm
- SENIORS (AGES 13-55) 12pm - 1.30pm
We mean it when we say you need no prior experience to participate in this martial art, we are relaunching our club and are hosting a taster session for juniors and adults on Saturday 6th July. This open session is to demonstrate and introduce you to our club and to invite you in becoming apart of his increasing success.

Our club has a mixture of experience and are proud to have produced world, yes WORLD champions in international competitions. We are looking to introduce our sport to new people and help develop our club members in developing more success.
🏃♂️ Increase Fitness: Training in Sport Aikido will increase mobility, flexibility and may help rid you of some body aches and pains.
🥋 Learn a Martial Art: Sport Aikido is a competitive martial art which focuses on throwing a non compliant body in a competitive field. We teach drills, katas, technical applications and a combination of techniques in training.
‼️ Improve Self Awareness: Many martial arts will promote the art self defence, we promote self awareness. Our training will increase your confidence, reaction times, the importance of maintaining the correct distance, improve your spatial awareness and increase perception.
💪🏾 Competitions: We participate in regular competitions throughout the year, practice is typical revolved around exploring aikido techniques, learning katas introduced by Tomiki to demonstrate the understanding and effectiveness of Aikido, training for gradings and competitive sparring. We have 3-4 competitions a year and our club participates in them all, let us introduce you to them!
We are looking for 10-15 juniors and adults to enrol in our limited spaced club launch session. If this sounds like something you would like to take part in or know somebody who may tag them below or comment if it’s of interest. We will contact with further details!
