Fantastic day training at the Iain Abernethy seminar, with my old club mate Richard Dickens. We had loads of fun, even with a few cheeky elbows to the face (both of us were guilty of this) 🤣
The course covered various drills and self defence applications of Kushanku / Kanku Dai / Kosokun Dai 👊👌

Big thank you to Iain Abernethy for a very funny and insightful class and to Soaring Eagle Karate for hosting a great event and putting on a lovely buffet 😊❤️👍

We set high standards and don’t rush students through grading. Each belt should reflect hard work, commitment, discipline, technical ability and genuine progress.

We respect that every club has its own approach. Ours is simple: train hard, meet the standard, earn your belt and be proud of your achievement.
