Thank you to everyone who came down and supported us last night — your backing means everything to the lads.
Unfortunately, we just fell short on the night. On another day, we believe we would have brought the County Cup home, but it wasn’t meant to be.
We knew it would be a tough task against one of the best sides in the county. Fields dominated possession, but we arguably had the better chances. However, the game changed around the 50-minute mark. With the score at 1-1, a questionable decision was made which made the job even harder, leaving us down to 10 men.
Despite that, the boys gave everything and represented the badge with pride until the final whistle.
Congratulations to Field Olympic on the win, and we’d like to wish them all the very best on their journey into semi-professional football. 👏
