An excellent, though strenuous, three hours of training with Kanayana Sensei! How he makes the nigh-on-impossible look so easy is beyond me. Another great offering from JKS England; commiserations to those who missed it - it was great.

Congratulations to everyone who graded afterwards or who took any other exam. When nine top Dan grades are scrutinising you the pressure is well and truly on. Nevertheless, I'm very pleased, and dare I say proud, to have attained my D licence qualifications in both instructing and examining. Onwards and upwards. Osu!

JKS England excelled itself, hosting a special course with the supremely talented Makita Sensei. Lots of dynamic movement exercises and a masterclass in Kakuyoku Shodan, Kashu, and Bassai Dai. Definitely worth getting out of bed for! Osu.

Eight years after his untimely passing, Paul Massheder Sensei's spirit lived on as JKS Bradford engaged in some special training in his memory. Never forgotten. Osu!

The weather outside is frightful but karate was still delightful as we dusted off the old Zoom drills from lockdown days. Well done to all who joined in - a fairly decent workout and certainly better than not being able to train at all. Ganbatte!
