Responsibilities:
- Teach martial arts classes to students of various ages and skill levels
- Develop and implement lesson plans that focus on technique, discipline, and self-defence
- Provide guidance and support to students to help them achieve their martial arts goals
- Ensure the safety of all students during class and enforce proper behaviour management techniques
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback and encouragement
- Maintain a clean and organized training area

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with students, preferably in a martial arts or similar setting
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in martial arts, such as Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, or Wrestling (all styles are welcome)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively demonstrate and teach martial arts techniques
- Patience and the ability to work with students of all ages and skill levels
- DBS, CPR and First Aid certification is preferred, but not required (DBS provided for successful applicant, would start sooner if this is something you already have)

We are looking for a dedicated Martial Arts Instructor who is passionate about teaching and inspiring students. If you have experience working with children or in a childcare setting, that is a plus. Join our team and help us empower individuals through the practice of martial arts.

Job Type: Temp to perm

Contract length: 6 months

Salary: £15-£30 per hour (with the potential of a full time position available)

Benefits:

Free or subsidised travel

Schedule:

Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

Commission pay
Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

Bradford: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

Sports coaching: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

DBS (preferred)
Black Belt (preferred)

Jimmy's School of Martial Arts ran our first competition at the weekend. All competitors were amazing, showing great technique, fantastic attitudes when winning and losing and most of all looked to have enjoyed the day.

Starting next week, Jimmy's School of Martial Arts will be introducing our new rewards scheme across all of our permanent venues.

Each friend that our members introduce to the sessions and when they subsequently join, will earn them a stamp on their Rewards Scheme Card. These will be handed out to the children at their next session.

🥳 Huge prizes to be won 🥳

3 referrals = £50 worth of Toys/Vouchers
6 referrals = £100 worth of Toys/Vouchers
9 referrals = £250 Xbox Series One S or equivalent.

We will give each student a unique code that they can pass on to potential trialers so we log their progress.
