We’re delighted to offer our fully inclusive Baby & PreSchool and Children’s Swim Academy lessons as well as our Adult Aquacise classes at ‘Private Pool Hire’ BD11 from 4 weeks to 10 years

All of our classes are teacher lead and are fully inclusive with all equipment provided

🏋🏼 Adult Aquacise Classes (all abilities)

Thursdays 9.30. - 1pm (Aquacise 11am)

🚨 HEATWAVE WATER SAFETY WARNING 🚨

Tragically, several young lives have already been lost in rivers and reservoirs this week. With the hot weather continuing, parents, carers, and teenagers must understand the hidden dangers of inland waters before thinking of cooling off.

🥶 The Danger: Cold Water Shock

Even in a heatwave, open water stays freezing. Within seconds, it triggers Cold Water Shock—causing immediate panic, gasping, and muscle failure. It can overwhelm even the strongest swimmers.

🛟 If You See Someone Struggling:

NEVER jump in to help. You will get into difficulty too.

Follow these steps:

1 - Call 999 immediately: Ask for the Fire Service (inland) or Coastguard (coast).

2 - Stay on land: Keep your eyes on the person and note your exact location.

3 - Shout instructions: Tell them to flip onto their back and Float to Live.

4 - Throw items: Look for a lifering, or throw anything that floats (like a football or an empty water bottle).

💡 If You Fall In: Float to Live

• Fight the instinct to thrash or swim.

• Lean back, extend your arms and legs.

• Float calmly for 60–90 seconds until your
breathing controls.

Please talk to your children today. It could save their life.
