💙 Struggling to get your child back into activities after the school holidays? 💙

The summer break can be amazing… but getting back into routines afterwards can sometimes feel like a HUGE step for children.

You might hear:
“I don’t want to go.”
“I’m nervous.”
“I don’t know anyone.”
“I’ve forgotten what to do.”
“I’m scared.”

And you know what? That’s completely normal. ❤️

At Warrior Martial Arts Academy, we understand that anxiety and nervousness can make that first step back really difficult.

We don’t expect children to just walk through the door feeling confident. We help them. 🥋

We take things at their pace, give them reassurance, encouragement and a friendly face to help them settle back in.

Sometimes the hardest part is simply getting through the door — and we can help with that.

If your child is feeling nervous about coming back after the school holidays, please talk to us. Don’t let anxiety stop them from doing something they might love.

🎄❤️ CHRISTMAS PRESENT DRIVE 2026 ❤️🎄

I know, I know… it’s only August! 😂 I hear you!

But the Christmas bargains are already starting to appear in the shops, so we’re getting our annual Christmas Present Drive underway early. 🎁

This year, we’re expanding the people and places we want to support, including:

❤️ The Women’s Refuge, Bradford
👶 Airedale Baby Unit
🧒 Airedale Children’s Ward

We’ve also noticed that teenagers often receive fewer donations, so we’d particularly love to make sure they aren’t forgotten this Christmas. ❤️

🎁 We would be incredibly grateful for donations of:

🧴 100 toiletries / “smellies”
🧦 100 pairs of socks
🎄 Gifts suitable for children and teenagers in hospital over Christmas

Every single donation, no matter how small, can make someone’s Christmas a little brighter — especially for children and families who are spending Christmas in hospital or going through a difficult time.

Did you know that kickboxing can count towards your Duke of Edinburgh Award?

If you’re looking for a physical activity for your DofE, kickboxing is a fantastic way to improve your fitness, strength, discipline and confidence.

I’m happy to support participants with their training and sign off the relevant DofE forms where appropriate.
