Josh and Amir displayed a lot of skill tonight but didn't get the results we obviously wanted. Great to corner these talented young men with Mark Spencer and Jason Johnson at Saif Khan who putt on a good well organised show. Well done boys, you're both gifted and skilled and your best is yet to come. 🙏🏻

Don't attack people. Don't attack anyone with a disability.

What a lot of people forget is a stick is not super useful if it has no stopping power. In this video the guy covers up and powers through it. Up close it's going to be throws and ground work.

I remember going through basic, essential stick grappling techniques at the academy and lots of sparring rounds. I also remember hearing talk in seminars and videos about the importance of fighting in close quarters with a stick.

I have explored this area and teach it regularly because it's super useful!

Well done to the man with crutches and the guy that broke it up 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Happy birthday 90th birthday G**o Dan. I first attended a seminar in 2004, and many since. Thank you for everything and your impact on the martial arts landscape. May you continue to be blessed for many years.

So proud of the men who came to this peer support initiative organised by Ihsaan Therapeutic Services.

The goal was getting men from the community involved in martial arts for better health and to talk and forge connection.

Not all fighting is done in the ring, cage or mats. Think about the whole. Always. Self defence is defending your SELF, not just your physical, but what about your mind and soul?

Get to work, do the thing! You will always find company!

Driving just now and turn onto a road going home to this. I didn't get involved, they stopped and said a few words, got in their vehicles and everyone went on their way.

The heat makes everyone more irritable than and impatient. Please be careful and remember, it really isn't worth it.

All martial arts contain self defence material, but not everyone gains a full scope of skills for all their efforts in training. Most commonly, it ends up being concentrated in one or two areas. A question many people have asked me over the years is “What would you do if…?”
