Not many photos because I was too busy having so much fun meeting families 😀

Thank you so much Bradford Culture Company for having me share my work in a place I spent my childhood 🙌🌳
And meeting the other inspiring businesses there working along side nature 😊

I think the adults today loved it just as much as the children 😅
Rainbow and Jeff were the stars of the show 🌟... we also had whittling🍄, lots of playing, tree climbing, rope swings and learning about our great recycling bug friends 🪳🐜🦗🪲

The woods are absolutely bloody beautiful at this time of year… so obviously we’re going back! 😂🌲🍁

I’m running 3 FULL DAY Forest School Holiday Camps this October half term:

All sessions are led by a qualified Forest School team, using the school’s outdoor facilities and woodland environment.

✨ Open to all children aged 5–11 ✨

Please dress your child for the weather — waterproofs, warm layers and clothes you don’t mind getting muddy in! They’ll also need a small bag with anything they need for the day.

Places are limited, so if your little wild ones fancy spending their October half term outside instead of stuck indoors, get them booked in! 🍁🌲

And this year a HUGE thank you to a local lady who has donated the cost of a place for the three sessions to a child who may not of had the opportunity at the moment to come.
They will have a free place 🫶🙌😊

Lovely day at Hill top Primary💚.. it ment a lot someone taking the time to come speak to me who doesn't know me 😊

And so proud of year 2 today remembering the job roles of falling leaves 🍂 fruits 🍏🍎 and fungi in the month of September 🙌

🍄 SEPTEMBER IN OUR KEIGHLEY WOODS 🍄

I LOVE September in the woods! 🍂🍄✨

If you get the chance, get yourself into your local woodland right now because it is absolutely bursting with fungi!

They are honestly some of the most magical things to find. Tiny little mushrooms hiding amongst the moss, huge ones growing from fallen trees, strange shapes and colours popping up everywhere you look. ✨🍄

I only pick them up if they are no longer attached to the ground, or if I need to have a closer look to identify them. Most of the time, they're best left exactly where they are — doing their very important jobs in the woodland ecosystem. 🥰

And personally, I don't see the point in eating them unless there's an abundance and you are 100% confident in what you're picking and have the experience to know what's safe. There are far too many beautiful fungi that are best admired rather than eaten! 🫶

So if you're wondering what to do with the kids this week...
Go on a MUSHROOM MOOCH! 🍄😂

You don't need a plan, equipment or anything fancy.....Just head into the woods, slow down, and see what you can find.

You might be surprised by just how much you've been walking past. 🌿🍄✨
September really is one of my favourite times to be outside. ❤️

Come and find me in the trees opposite Bracken Hall 🌳... free activities for families in the stunning Shipley Glen 😊

All activities are taking place outside – so dress for the weather.

Ana's Tribe after school club starts tomorrow 🙌🙌🙌

Me and Jacob can't wait to run our 6 week club to welcome September and October!! The most beautiful months welcoming Autumn 🍂

It is looking stunning tomorrow 🌞!

Long Lee school are amazing and holding the children in the office until I take them from there, if you let your children know that is the plan 😊

Please bring a bag with a change of comfortable outdoor shoes and clothes we have facilities to change once I pick up the full group from the office 🌳👟

September 🙌🍎🍂

Its great to be back at Hill top primary 😊

What a joy seeing the children getting excited about eating apples straight off the trees 🌳 😍

Today we learnt what our trees are doing now in September.... and how and what helps breakdown the nutritiants back into our soils 🍄 🌿

I also went looking for the mysterious fox that the children all saw but I couldn't find 🦊 😅

Mother nature you are amazing 🌎🍂🙌🍎
