Role Overview
Prime Sports Uk are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our team, delivering high-quality physical activity sessions across primary schools in Bradford and Halifax. This is a dual-role position combining school-time and after-school coachingwith lead responsibilities during school holiday sports camps.
This is an exciting opportunity for a coach who is passionate about inspiring young people, confident in leading groups, and able to deliver engaging, safe, and inclusive sessions.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality sports and physical activity sessions to primary-aged children
Plan and adapt sessions to suit different ages, abilities, and group sizes
Create a fun, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
Support the development of fundamental movement skills and teamwork
Maintain high standards of behaviour, safety, and safeguarding at all times
Set up and pack away equipment safely and responsibly
Communicate effectively with children, school staff, parents, and colleagues
Represent the organisation professionally at all times
Hours & Flexibility
Minimum of 12 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours.
Work may include mornings, afternoons, and holiday periods
Flexibility to work across multiple locations is desirable
Skills & Experience
Essential:
Experience working with children in a sports or activity setting
Passion for sport, physical activity, and working with young people
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to motivate and engage children of all abilities
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
Desirable:
Relevant coaching qualifications (e.g. sports coaching, PE, or activity leadership)
Experience delivering sessions in schools or holiday clubs
First Aid qualification
Safeguarding training
Safeguarding
The successful applicant will be required to follow all safeguarding policies and procedures. An enhanced DBS check will be required (or willingness to obtain one).
