A Big Thank You to Farnley Falcons for hosting Birkenshaw Bluedogs U12's Girls on Sunday. Always a Great Game played in Good Spirits 🙌🏻

Our Girls got off to a really fast start with the later than usual KO & never let the Pace of the Game Drop.
Some Great Rugby on Show from both Teams, especially in the 2nd Half as the Clouds opened up & made the Handling Difficult ☔
Really impressed with how Our Girls shared the Work out on Attack & in Defence, this was highlighted by the number of different Try Scorers & Culminated with a Very Good Win! 🤩

The U12s travelled to Siddal on Sunday to take part in their 9 a side tournament. With it being bank holiday weekend we had a few still away on holidays. Despite being short on numbers the girls showed incredible determination and teamwork through out the day. Every single player gave 100% with some fantastic rugby on display. Well done girls. 🤍💙

Huge thanks to Siddal RL for your hospitality and the photos. It was a fantastic tournament.

Next up for the girls away at Farnley Falcons on Sunday 11.30am KO. Come down and support the girls. 🏉

History was made yesterday as the 1st Birkenshaw BLUEDOGS Women's team took to the field in a friendly fixture against Newsome Panthers Arlfc Women 🏉

The team were buzzing as the majority of them brushed the dust from their long forgotten boots, while some of them made their debuts but they all had a smile on their faces as they thoroughly enjoyed their well earned pints on what felt like the hottest day of the year ☀️

Back to training on Thursday with coach McCarthy to start prepping for the return fixture in a few weeks!

The U15'S gave their summer legs a stretch yesterday for a run out over at Stanningley ARLFC festival 👌🏻

It was nice to see them back at it and 4th in our pool meant we went on to play off in the runner up pathway, coming a close second against Siddal.

It was good to catch up with Oulton Raidettes Girls, Drighlington Girls ARLFC and West Craven too 👌🏻

What a great experience for our girls yesterday visiting Everton Hill-Dickinson Stadium for day 1 of the Super League Magic Weekend 🏉

Thanks to Northern rail trains for making it happen 👏🏻 we had an amazing day made even better with a hassle free trip by train from Leeds Railway Station to Liverpool Lime Street Train Station and onto the Stagecoach shuttle buses 👌🏻

Lots of very tired but happy faces by the end of the day 💙
