Afternoon and all of . Well, we will give that transfer window an 8 out of 10. The free market is still in play but we have to admit that the striker area is the only section that is risky. The last two windows have been good. Credit to Rupp for bringing in David Sharpe. He has definitely had an effect and has cleared some wage bill. Sparks has not interfered and signed off the players when presented with them. Does it paper over the cracks of previous transfer window performance? No of course not but it is a good start. Ticket tax, previous recruitment decisions, fans forums, ticket systems, membership systems, ego statements, manager decisions have happened. But the feel good factor is here, we are handily placed for potential promotion push in what is a poor league this year. We have to go for it. Credit to Rupp - on paper he has supported the push with cash. Now it is our job as to roar them on and make VP a fortress of noise. One swallow doesn't make a summer but it helps and it could be worse, we could be Carlisle. Viva , Viva the fans.
