Cosy Club House at Bowls and Croquet Club

Bradford on Avon Bowls and Croquet Club has recently benefitted from two £5000 grants from Hills Waste Solutions and Croquet England to refit the Club House for all year-round use by installing insulation and heating.

The grant from Hills Waste Solutions came via the Landfill Communities Fund, which is administered in Wiltshire by Community First.

Ed Dodd, Chief Executive of The Hills Group said: “We are delighted that our Landfill Communities Fund grant has helped to create a warm, welcoming and sustainable space which club members and the wider community can enjoy for many years.”

Derrick Hunt, Honorary Secretary of the Club added "The Club House is now available for all year round use by the community of Bradford on Avon. Contact me on 07986 972 984 to view and discuss."

Photo include Henry Newbery of Hills Waste awarding the plaque, Mayor Sam Blackwell, Mary & Heather of Community First, Paul Francis of Croquet England and Club Members.
